Job summary

Manpower is seeking a Material Handler to join a warehouse operations team in Wilmington, MA. The role supports shipping, receiving, and inventory management with a focus on reliability and attention to detail.

The shift runs 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Monday to Friday or Tuesday to Saturday. This is a 6-month contract with opportunities for growth and development, in a dynamic logistics environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Previous experience in warehouse or logistics.
• Experience operating pallet jacks, hand trucks, or forklift.
• Ability to lift heavy items (up to 35 lbs).
• Basic computer skills, attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical tasks involved in shipping, receiving, storing, and distributing merchandise and materials.
• Check goods received against purchase orders or invoices and maintain accurate records.
• Package and prepare products for shipment, posting weights and shipping charges.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
• Inspect goods for damage, report discrepancies, and organize inventory in designated storage areas.

Our client, a leader in logistics and supply chain management, is seeking a Material Handler to join their team. As a Material Handler, you will be part of the warehouse operations team supporting shipping, receiving, and inventory management. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
