Job summary

Ericson Manufacturing is hiring a Material Handler to join its growing team in Willoughby, OH. You will remove parts from the warehouse and deliver them to Manufacturing or Shipping, and assist with loading and moving parts as needed.

Training will cover operating basic equipment like tow motors and reach trucks, with a focus on accuracy in part counts and safety in daily warehousing duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to select the correct parts and count accurately with training.
• Prior warehousing experience preferred.
• Able to be trained on basic computer screens.

Responsibilities

• Remove parts from the warehouse and deliver to the Manufacturing or Shipping departments.
• Return or move parts from the Manufacturing department to the warehouse.
• Complete part count requests and related inquiries promptly.
• With training, operate equipment such as tow motor and/or reach truck.
• Assist unloading parts from delivery trucks as requested.
• Maintain clean, organized aisles and electrical panels for safety.
• Communicate with Lead personnel about questions or issues.

We are looking for a Material Handler to join our growing team!

The Role:

Responsible for accurately removing parts from the warehouse and delivering them to the Manufacturing or Shipping departments. Will use a tow motor, or similar equipment, to move heavier parts. Will help count parts to confirm available quantities.

Available Shift: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM (M – TH)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Remove parts from the warehouse and deliver them to the Manufacturing or Shipping departments.
• Return or move parts from the Manufacturing department to the warehouse.
• Complete part count requests and related inquiries in a timely manner.
• With training, operate various equipment such as a tow motor and/or a reach truck.
• Assist in the unloading of parts from delivery trucks as requested.
• Practice good housekeeping and safety fundamentals by keeping aisles and electrical panels clear and parts well organized in the warehouse.
• Communicate with Lead personnel with questions or issues of any nature.

Minimum Qualifications, Education and Certifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• With training, able to accurately select the correct parts and accurately count the parts selected.
• Prior experience in warehousing operations preferred.
• Able to be trained in the operation of various basic computer screens.

Physical Requirements:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job:

• Ability to routine‑ly lift & handle boxes weighing up to 60 lbs.; typically, 20 lbs. or less.
• Use various material handling equipment as required.
