Job Impulse, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Material Handler in Wellford, SC. Our client is a Tool Making Company. The Material Handler is responsible for:

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.

• Load, unload, and move products and materials to designated areas.

• Receive incoming materials, verify quantities, and inspect for damage or defects.

• Prepare and stage materials for production, shipping, or storage.

• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist in cycle counts or audits.

• Follow all safety procedures and report any safety hazards or equipment issues.

• Keep work areas clean, organized, and free from hazards.

• Collaborate with warehouse, logistics, and production teams to ensure timely material flow.

• Comply with company policies, procedures, and quality standards.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Valid forklift certification and experience operating sit-down and/or stand-up forklifts.

• Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in a warehouse or material handling role.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.

• Basic math, reading, and computer skills; experience with inventory software is a plus.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a team.

Working Conditions:

• Warehouse or production environment.

• May require standing, bending, lifting, and exposure to varying temperatures.

Preferred Skills (Optional):

• Experience with RF scanners or warehouse management systems (WMS).

• Familiarity with lean manufacturing or 5S practices.

  • 6am-3pm Monday-Thursday
  • 6am-12pm Friday
