JLM Manufacturing is seeking Material Handlers to join our Production team. We're looking for dedicated individuals who always show up for work on time and who thrive in a team-oriented environment. Successful candidates will have prior experience in warehouse / material handling. We are looking to fill these jobs immediately, so it's important for new hires to hit the ground running. Knowledge of principles, GMP's, SOP's & SSOP's are helpful.

• Review Work orders and Bulk Pick List to ensure adequate materials present for the day.
• Separate, Stage, and Prepare materials to enter the production floor by designated lines.
• Communicate production schedule with the Production Team Members (Floor Leads/Line Leads).
• Communicate with Warehouse Team for needed materials.
• Record Weights, Returns and Discards from the Stage area for correct count purposes.
• Turn in all recording of issued/returned/material waste to supervision at end of day.
• Maintain Cleanliness in Staging Area (cooler, warehouse, etc.).
• Ensure GMP guidelines are being followed while performing job duties and by those in your area.
• Maintain work area and equipment cleanliness.
• Responsible for upholding food safety standards
• Performs other duties as assigned by the line lead, floor lead, supervisor or management.
  
  

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is working in a production room that has a temperature of 35 to 75 degrees; there are moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent

Experience: Some Manufacturing experience required

Technical Skills: Basic computer skills

Knowledge: Knowledge of FDA and USDA requirements helpful

Other: Reliable transportation

Physical Requirements

Able to bend, squat, stand for up to 8 hours a day, lift up to 50 pounds
