Switchcraft/Conxall in Illinois is hiring a Material Handler to move, store, and track non-hazardous and hazardous materials in our warehouse. You will load and unload items, record inventory, and ensure deliveries match purchase orders, while maintaining a clean, safe work environment.

The shift is Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, at $18.68 per hour. Candidates should have math and computer skills, basic English, and the ability to operate pallet jacks and a sit-down forklift, lifting

Qualifications

• Basic math and computer skills required.
• Previous material handling experience preferred.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English and work well with others.
• Must be able to use material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and a sit-down forklift and move heavy items up to 50 lbs occasionally.

Responsabilités

• Weighing and counting parts using counting scales.
• Entering counts and work order information into the warehouse system.
• Cycle counting parts.
• Moving materials within the plant.

As a US manufacturer of connectors and cables, Switchcraft/Conxall continues to grow by releasing innovative new products and working directly with OEM design engineers to solve their biggest connectivity challenges.

Currently, we are seeking a Material Handler to join our team. A Material Handler handles, moves and stores various non-hazardous and hazardous materials within a warehouse. Their main duties include loading and unloading different transport items, recording inventory statuses and making sure deliveries properly match purchase orders.

Monday - Friday 7am - 3:30pm

$18.68/Hour

Responsibilities:

• Picking orders
• Weighing & counting parts while utilizing counting scales
• Entering counts and work order information into warehousing system
• Cycle counting parts
• Moving materials within plant
• Helping in other areas when needed

Requirements

• Math and computer skills
• Previous material handling experience preferred
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English, and work well with others
• Must be able to use material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and a sit-down forklift and be able to perform physical tasks such as moving heavy boxes, cable spools and items up to 50 lbs, or heavier, on occasion.
