Job summary

Hendrick Technical Solutions – Location: 4400 Papa Joe Hendrick Blvd, Charlotte, North Carolina 28262.

We are currently seeking a Material Handler. The successful individual will be responsible for executing a range of responsibilities including management of material movement, warehouse replenishment, packaging of material for shipment, and order picking. The role works directly with the inventory team to supply materials to the production environment as directed.

Primary Responsibilities

• Load and unload pallets for shelf storage of products
• Manual shelf replenishment from backstock
• Assist with picking of required production materials
• Load/Unload trucks as needed
• Engage a forklift or pallet jack to move products as needed
• Assist with packaging of material for shipment
• Receive and distribute inventory
• Cycle counting of inventory as needed
• Act as a back‑up for other positions during absences
• Additional responsibilities added as needed

Skills and Qualifications

• High school Diploma.
• Automotive related background, a plus.
• 2+ years of experience in a warehouse environment.
• 1+ year of experience in traditional manufacturing, a plus.
• Working knowledge of ERP systems.
• Ability to work without constant supervision.
• Basic computer skills.
• Flexibility and creative thinking.
• Ability to stand, crouch, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds for 8+ hours a day.
• Forklift certification or ability to become certified.
• Ability to work a pallet jack.
• High organization and strong attention to detail.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Independent problem‑solving skills and the discipline to follow up and follow through until problems are resolved.
