The successful individual will be responsible for executing a range of responsibilities including management of material movement, warehouse replenishment, packaging of material for shipment, and order picking. The individual in this role will work directly with the inventory team to supply materials to the production environment as directed. Qualified candidates will be comfortable in a fast-paced environment, standing and moving for an 8 hour shift, and well organized.**Primary Responsibilities:*** Load and unload pallets for shelf storage of products* Manual shelf replenishment from backstock* Assist with picking of required production materials* Load/Unload trucks as needed* Engage a forklift or pallet jack to move products as needed* Assist with packaging of material for shipment* Receive and distribution of inventory* Cycle counting of inventory as needed* Act as a back-up for other positions as needed during absences* Additional responsibilities added as needed**The successful candidate will possess the following characteristics:*** Understanding of batch and serialized products a plus* Understanding of BOMs a plus* Ability to work without constant supervision* Ability to self-direct* Basic computer skills* Flexibility and creative thinking* Ability to stand, crouch, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds for 8+ hours a day* Forklift certification or ability to become certified* Ability to work a pallet jack**Skills and Qualifications:*** High school Diploma* Automotive related background, a plus* 2+ years of experience in a warehouse environment* 1+ years of experience in traditional manufacturing, a plus* Working knowledge of ERP systems required* Demonstrated ability in identifying and implementing structure in otherwise flexible/fluid operations* Highly organized with strong attention to detail* Ability to persist and succeed with cross-functional communication within scope of responsibility* Strong written and oral communication skills.* Must have independent problem-solving skills and the discipline to follow-up and follow-through until problems are resolvedAll applicants must apply via the Hendrick Motorsports website.This role subject to International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) requirements and as such, U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident or U.S. Person Status Required.
