Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of warehouse, shipping or receiving experience.
• Basic computer skills to enter and retrieve data.
• RF scan gun or WMS experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of forklift operation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and transfer materials to storage locations.
• Pick and pull products to fulfill orders and production needs.
• Load and unload trucks, containers, and other transport vehicles.
• Organize and palletize materials to maintain efficiency.
• Deliver materials to production areas as required.
• Label, transport, and store finished goods securely.
• Inspect materials for packaging and product integrity.
• Process material movements using RF scan guns and WMS.
• Maintain shipping and receiving docs like manifests and BOLs.
• Perform inventory counts and assist with stock organization.
• Remove waste to keep a clean, safe workspace.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and related equipment.

Position Details

• Job Title: Material Handler
• Location: Lincoln, CA
• Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour
• Schedule: Full-Time

What You'll Be Doing

• Receive, unload, and transfer materials to designated warehouse storage locations
• Pick and pull products to fulfill customer orders and production requirements
• Load and unload trucks, containers, and other transport vehicles
• Organize, consolidate, and palletize materials to maintain warehouse efficiency
• Deliver materials to production areas as needed
• Label, transport, and store finished goods
• Inspect materials for proper packaging and product integrity
• Process material movements using RF scan guns and warehouse management systems
• Maintain shipping and receiving documentation, including manifests and bills of lading
• Perform inventory counts and assist with stock organization
• Remove cardboard and other warehouse waste to maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Respond to production requests for missing or damaged materials
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment as needed
• Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of warehouse, shipping and receiving, or material handling experience preferred
• Basic computer skills with the ability to enter and retrieve data
• Experience with shipping/tracking software is a plus
• Forklift, pallet rider, and RF scan gun experience preferred
• Knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory procedures
• Ability to communicate effectively and follow written and verbal instructions
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Food safety knowledge (HACCP, FDA regulations, and related programs) is a plus

Physical Requirements

• Ability to bend, stoop, and move throughout the warehouse
• Lift up to 35 pounds regularly
• Push or pull up to 75 pounds
• Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment
• Climb on and off forklifts or other equipment
• Use a computer for inventory and shipping documentation

Work Environment

• Warehouse, commissary, or distribution center environment
• Frequent use of forklifts and other material handling equipment
• Exposure to warehouse noise and varying weather conditions, including heat and cold

Hiring Requirements

• Valid identification proving authorization to work in the United States
• As a condition of employment, you may be required to pass a drug screen and background check
