The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and accurate handling of materials, ensuring that products are loaded, unloaded, and moved throughout the distribution center effectively. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to operate various equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload materials from trucks and containers using forklifts, clamp trucks, or cranes.


• Move materials within the warehouse using RF scanners to track inventory accurately.


• Organize and maintain inventory in designated areas to ensure efficient retrieval.


• Perform regular inspections of equipment to ensure safety and functionality.


• Assist in the preparation of orders for shipment by gathering and packing items as needed.


• Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals while adhering to safety protocols.


• Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency.

Experience

• Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center is preferred.


• Proficiency in operating forklifts, clamp trucks, and cranes; certification is a plus.


• Familiarity with RF scanners for inventory management is advantageous.


• Strong mechanical knowledge related to material handling equipment is beneficial.


• Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the shift.


• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
