Job summary

Ceres Technologies, a brand within Atlas Copco Group, is seeking a Material Handler to oversee and maintain all stock inventories at our on-site facility in Saugerties, NY. The role focuses on efficient material flow, safe handling, and accurate order fulfillment.

The ideal candidate will have good manual dexterity, ability to operate a forklift, and basic math skills. Pay ranges from $20 to $24 per hour, with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and maintain all stock inventories in the warehouse.
• Operate forklift, pallet jack, and hand truck as required.
• Unload shipped materials.
• Pull items from stock according to work orders.
• Ensure machines operate safely and efficiently.
• Assist shipping with packaging procedures.
• Report concerns to management and keep work area clean.
• Follow company safety policies and maintain a safe environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job description

The Material Handler is responsible for overseeing and maintaining all stock inventories for the warehouse.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Follows daily manufacturing work orders giving special attention to various materials.
• Maneuvers heavy materials with the use of a forklift, pallet, and hand truck as required.
• Unloads shipped materials as required.
• Pulls items from stock according to designated work orders.
• Maintains and ensures all machines are functioning according to established work and safety standards.
• Assists shipping area with package procedures as requested.
• Reports any concerns or discrepancies to management.
• Maintains equipment in a clean, orderly, and safe manner.
• Complies with company policies and procedures, while giving special attention to safety regulations.
• Work with direct supervision
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

Salary Range: $20 - $24 per hour

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location
