Job summary

Ceres Technologies, Inc. in the United States is seeking a Warehouse Material Controller Team Leader to manage daily warehouse operations, optimize space, and lead a high-performing team.

You will drive accuracy, implement efficient material flows, and ensure safety and compliance to meet production needs. The role requires strong ERP knowledge (SAP/Encompix), and a proven track record in warehouse management within manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 8 years experience in warehouse and material management in manufacturing.
• Experience in automation activity in warehouse management.
• Familiarity with ERP systems; SAP & Encompix preferred.
• Intermediate English communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations including receipt, storage, replenishment and delivery.
• Maintain KPI measurements such as stock accuracy and cycle counts.
• Coordinate with 3PL and suppliers for efficient material flow.
• Manage Kanban in SAP/Encompix and optimize replenishment processes.
• Lead warehouse/materal control team and set KPIs.
• Ensure safety and compliance under SHE rules.

Warehouse Material Controller Team Leader

Manage the daily operations of warehouse to ensure the smooth flow of goods in and out by a high level of accuracy. Optimize warehouse space and storage layout for maximum efficiency. Motivate the team to achieve high productivity and quality standards while adhering to safety and compliance regulations. Ensure that operations in warehouse meet requirements of production lines and maintain customer service levels in a safety and compliance way, and communicate effectively with operations & other team to meet supply chain needs and contribute to the business goals and strategies.

Warehouse Management

• Responsible for controlling warehouse activities including general operations(receipt,storage,replenishment and delivery), safety, cleanness, security, inventory control.
• Maintain/develop measurements to ensure all KPI’s within warehouse are met, eg. Stock accuracy rate.
• Manage and control regular stock takes. Ensuring inventory accuracy/integrity within warehouse.
• Manage and control receipt/Document of all stock from suppliers.
• Continue to work with 3PL suppliers to develop versatile function for improve efficiency/effectiveness within warehouse.
• Managing zone for damages, return/rejection and report to key stake holders.
• Regular Warehouse operation KPI/Status to key stake holder.
• Reporting any issues and proposal through operation.
• Prepare operation planning with warehouse for peak period.
• Harzads and Chemials management under SHE rules and government policy.

Distribution Management

• Arrange the pick work for finsihed pumps and spare parts based on instruction of logtics speciliest/planner, and complete the delviery in SAP(PGI) Encompix.
• Ensure all orders are dispatched in a timely and efficient manner to meet services commitment to customers.

Inventory Management

• Cooperatre with buyer team to monitor and maintain appropriate stock level.
• Analyze and monitor the space utilization and optimization.
• Pre-alert to buyer&prodution team for shortage-risk items.

Material Control

• Provide information, risk items and recovery plan, though analysis and compare with production plan and delivery schedule without compromising customer service levels or causing line stoppages.
• Coordinate material controller team to support physical counting for shortage-risk items raised from lines, and alert to production & buying team and handle the variances properly to ensure the production output. Through PI counting investigation and diagnosis of material variances, identify root causes and implement preventative actions to improve the stock accuracy.
• Manage and control KANBAN resizing processes. Maintain Kanban in SAP and Encompix.
• Manage replenishment processes&optimize the material flow.Go and see the actual replenishment process and material flow from warehouse to productions lines and raise improvement suggestions.
• Monitor inventory transaction exceptions within Encompix and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies, improve inventory accuracy, and drive process improvements.
• Support new production lines build, and support localization project on the material flow process.
• Coordinate the daily work with WH & Material Handler shift lead and other team leaders within operations.
  • Knowledge and experiences sharing to improve the team skill and give some guidance and instruction.
  • Evaluate the work capacity and work allocate.

People Management:

• To jointly select right people for key position in warehouse and material control operation Set KPI performance target for warehouse/ material controller and improve performance.

• Bachelor's degree or above or work experience equivalent
• Relevant Previous experience (minimum years of experience to competently carry out the role, not total year of experience)
  • Minimum 8years experience working in warehouse and material management in manufacturing industry
  • Experience in automation activity in warehouse management
• Knowledge areas/Skills (minimum level of knowledge to fullfil the role’s responsibilities)
  • Familiarity with ERP systems,and practices. SAP & Encompix Preffered.
• Other requirements (e.g. Language skills; competencies; expected travel requirements)
  • Intermediate English communication skills, both written and verbal

Salary: $33.00- $38.00/per hour

In additon to thehourly rate you will be eligible for a shift differential of 10%.

Job location

This role requires you to work on-site at our office in Saugerties, NY for shift 2:30-11pm. You will be part of a dynamic team and enjoy the benefits of face-to-face collaboration.
