Job summary

Atlas Copco North America LLC in Saugerties, NY is seeking a Material Handler to oversee and maintain stock inventories in the warehouse.

You will follow daily work orders, operate forklift equipment, unload incoming materials, and pull items from stock while ensuring safety and clean work areas. The role emphasizes teamwork and adherence to company policies.

Material Handler

The Material Handler is responsible for overseeing and maintaining all stock inventories for the warehouse.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Follows daily manufacturing work orders giving special attention to various materials.
• Maneuvers heavy materials with the use of a forklift, pallet, and hand truck as required.
• Unloads shipped materials as required.
• Pulls items from stock according to designated work orders.
• Maintains and ensures all machines are functioning according to established work and safety standards.
• Assists shipping area with package procedures as requested.
• Reports any concerns or discrepancies to management.
• Maintains equipment in a clean, orderly, and safe manner.
• Complies with company policies and procedures, while giving special attention to safety regulations.
• Work with direct supervision
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

Salary Range: $20 - $24 per hour

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location

Education, Certifications, and Experience

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous warehouse or related work experience preferred
