Job summary

Thompson Health in Town of Canandaigua is seeking a Material Handler to receive, inspect, and distribute all incoming supplies and equipment. The ideal candidate will maintain inventory levels and process daily inventory requests.

A High School diploma or equivalent is required, along with experience in a Warehouse/Inventory Control environment. The pay range for this position is $18.66 - $21.00 per hour based on experience.

Job description

Main Function:

• Under the direction of the Receiving and Distribution Manager, the Material Handler receives, inspects, and distributes all incoming supplies and equipment coming into the system according to established procedures and guidelines.
• Daily automatic replenishment levels (PAR) are maintained for all units and inventory requests are processed and delivered on a daily basis.

Education:

• High School diploma or equivalent required

Experience:

• Experience in Warehouse/Inventory Control environment preferred
• Knowledge of Computers
• Strong Math Skills

Pay Range: $18.66 - $21.00 per hour

Starting Rate: Based on experience
