*FORKLIFT EXPERIENCE REQUIRED*

Material Handlers help ensure we safely and accurately transport materials and finished goods throughout the plant to our Customers.

Immediately hiring for 2nd shift (2:45pm - 10:45pm). Hourly rate is $18.50, plus 30 cent shift differential.

Responsibilities:

• Transport materials and inventory to assigned locations using various methods such as forklift, tugger, pallet jack, etc.
• Maintain in-process inventory at work centers by delivering and opening materials and supplies.
• Collect and properly dispose of scrap bracing, cardboard, and strapping; maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Maintain inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock; record location of inventory.
• Confirm shipping details or special instructions; expedite shipments that affect the manufacturing process schedule.
• Prepare finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing product.
• Prepare and maintain records of materials received and shipped including dates of transactions, locations, and other pertinent information.
• Conduct cycle counts, verifying the accuracy of material quantities.
• Load finished goods for shipment to customers with industrial trucks / material handling equipment.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of standing & walking.
• Written and verbal communication skills.
