Job Summary:

The Material Handler will be responsible for transporting parts and materials throughout the facility using a forklift or hand truck in a safe and efficient manner.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Move expensive/fragile parts as well as warehouse materials throughout the site.
2. Follow pre-determined routes for material movement.
3. Manage crate and box inventory.
4. Deliver and manage scrap parts inventory.
5. Visually inspect repaired parts for handling damage and receive them per process.
6. Crate and box parts utilizing a foam machine, saw, and other tools.
7. Pack/unpack crates, boxes, and pallets.
8. Maintain inventory of wooden and plastic pallets, as well as various crates; store and stack them neatly, and deliver as necessary.
9. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements:

1. High School Diploma / GED.
2. Minimum of one year experience in a warehouse, stockroom, or storage yard.
3. Ability to operate a forklift rated for over 4500 pounds.
4. Able to work outdoors year-round in various weather conditions.
5. Computer skills (Microsoft Outlook and Excel).
6. Capability to actively work on multiple tasks simultaneously.
7. Ability to obtain certification in crane and rigging operations.

Desired Characteristics:

• Certified to operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts and/or crane and rigging operations.
