Job summary

Remedy Intelligent Staffing is seeking a Materials Handler in Tallahassee, FL to support warehouse and production operations. You will move materials throughout the facility, maintain inventory accuracy, perform picking/packing, and coordinate with carriers for shipments.

This long-term role requires a high school diploma or GED, forklift experience, and the ability to obtain forklift certification; familiarity with ERP systems and handheld scanners is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1–3 months of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1+ year of forklift or lift truck experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain forklift certification.
• Ability to pass a vision screening.

Responsibilities

Job Summary:

A local manufacturing company is seeking a Materials Handler to support warehouse and production operations. This role involves moving materials throughout the warehouse, production floor, and external locations. Responsibilities include inventory control, picking/packing, stock replenishment, unloading deliveries, and handling shipments through carriers such as UPS, DHL, FedEx, and LTL freight.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate inventory and track material movement
• Distribute raw materials to production as needed
• Follow FIFO procedures and perform cycle counts
• Coordinate material transport with third-party logistics providers
• Receive, package, and ship orders using standard and expedited methods
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace
