MAJOR FUNCTION
The Material Handler's primary role is to supply internal and external customers with parts and machines.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Locating, picking, and pulling parts for shipment.
2. Packing service parts for shipment.
3. Processing shipments through FedEx and UPS systems.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

KNOWLEDGE & PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES:

• Ability to work independently.
• Must be able to read and write English.
• Effective use of gun scanners.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Good math skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures.
• Ability to pick parts accurately.
• Ability to climb stairs.
• Basic computer skills.
• Willingness to work scheduled or unscheduled overtime.
• Record-keeping abilities.
• Knowledge of safety practices and procedures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Forklift driving experience is a plus; ability to become certified.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Good attendance record.
• Cross-functional in all operational areas.
