Job summary

Staffmark Group is seeking a Material Handler in Sparks, NV to safely move materials, support warehouse operations, and ensure inventory is tracked accurately.

Relocation of products using pallet jacks and forklifts, identification of inventory locations, and careful recordkeeping are essential. Previous warehouse experience preferred with strong safety and reliability. 6am to 2:30pm shift with $20.00 per hour pay rate.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous warehouse or material handling training is beneficial.
• Experience moving, organizing, loading, or unloading materials in warehouse/manufacturing environments.
• Ability to identify products, labels, inventory locations, and shipping docs.
• Knowledge of safe material handling practices and workplace safety procedures.
• Ability to operate pallet jacks or other material handling equipment.

Location: Sparks, NV

Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour

6am to 2:30pm

Looking for Material Handler jobs in Sparks where every shift keeps products moving? This opportunity lets you handle materials safely, support warehouse operations, and help ensure inventory reaches the right place at the right time.

Material handlers relocate products and raw materials, such as timber or iron, within a facility using forklifts or pallet jacks. They also may handle recordkeeping responsibilities related to inventory, product locations or labeling to help the company remain organized.

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous warehouse or material handling training is beneficial.

Experience Requirements

• Experience moving, organizing, loading, or unloading materials in warehouse or manufacturing environments.
• Ability to accurately identify products, labels, inventory locations, and shipping documentation.
• Knowledge of safe material handling practices and workplace safety procedures.
• Ability to operate pallet jacks or other material handling equipment as required.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and dependable work habits.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, shipping, receiving, logistics, manufacturing, or distribution experience is preferred.
• Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, RF scanners, or warehouse management systems is beneficial.
• Knowledge of inventory control procedures, warehouse documentation, or Lean warehouse practices is considered an asset.
• Individuals who demonstrate reliability, teamwork, attention to detail, and safe work habits are well positioned for success as a Material Handler.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive material handling tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to safely move products using manual or powered material handling equipment.
• Ability to work efficiently in warehouse or manufacturing environments while following established safety procedures.
