Job summary

ABB is seeking a Material Handler to manage the sorting and preparation of parts and finished goods in the warehouse, interfacing with the production line. The role emphasizes routine warehouse activities, storage organization, and accurate packing for dispatch, all performed on-site.

Responsibilities include material sorting, routine tasks per procedures, and safe movement of boxes and pallets. Prior forklift/equipment experience is preferred, with training provided, along with basic ladder

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 1 year working in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Experience operating industrial vehicles such as forklift and electronic dolly’s preferred (training provided).
  • Ability to safely use a ladder while performing the job, as needed
  • Ability to lift, push and pull up to 40lbs
  • Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.

Warehouse/Internal Logistics Supervisor
Your role and responsibilities: In this role, you will have the opportunity to conduct all activities related to the handling of parts and semi-finished or final products in the warehouse or to/from the production line. Each day, you will be responsible for sorting and arranging material for storage as per guidelines. You will also showcase your expertise by performing other routine activities according to established procedures.
The work model for the role is: On-site
This role is contributing to the ELSP Smart Power in Mebane, NC.
