Job summary

Ferrellgas is seeking a Full Time Material Handler to work primarily outdoors on our dock, inspecting, filling, loading, and unloading propane cylinders and tanks for drivers and customers.

This hands-on role emphasizes safety and teamwork in a fast-paced environment; training is provided for the right candidate, with growth opportunities and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1+ year of work experience preferred; training provided for the right candidate.
• Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in all weather conditions.
• Commitment to safety, teamwork, and providing excellent customer service.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or authorized to work in the United States
• Applicants must not require sponsorship for an employment visa.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, and load propane cylinders and tanks.
• Fill customer cylinders at the dock when applicable.
• Scrape and paint tanks/cylinders to maintain safety standards.
• Keep the yard, plant, and office areas clean and professional.
• Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and sharing product information.
