Job summary

Ferrellgas is seeking a Full Time Material Handler to work outdoors on our dock, inspecting, filling, loading, and unloading propane cylinders and tanks for delivery drivers and customers. This hands-on role emphasizes safety and reliability.

You will join a supportive team and contribute to smooth operations while staying active with hands-on tasks, receiving comprehensive training and opportunities to grow within Ferrellgas.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver's license and good driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in all weather conditions.
• Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship required.
• 1+ year of work experience preferred; training provided for the right candidate.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, and load propane cylinders and tanks.
• Fill customer cylinders at the dock (when applicable).
• Scrape and paint tanks/cylinders as needed to maintain quality and safety standards.
• Keep the yard, plant, and office areas clean and professional in appearance.
• Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and sharing product/service information.
