Van-Am Tool & Engineering in St. Joseph, MO is seeking a Material Handler to prepare materials and inventory for delivery, using safe, efficient practices.

Requirements include 2+ years in manufacturing, ability to operate forklifts, strong communication, and attention to detail. Schedule options: four-day work week 5:00 AM–3:30 PM (Mon-Thu) or a three-day weekend 5:00 AM–5:30 PM (Fri-Sun) with an 11% shift differential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to safely and efficiently operate various types of forklifts.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all tasks.
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift and carry heavy objects.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and communication purposes.

Responsibilities

Van-Am Tool & Engineering is a custom manufacturer in St. Joseph, MO. As we continue to grow, we are seeking dedicated and skilled CDL Drivers – Materials Handlers to join our team.

As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for efficiently and safely preparing materials, equipment and various products for delivery, while also assisting with inventory management tasks within our facility. This role requires a strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Four Day Work Week: 5:00AM – 3:30PM, M-Th. Three Day Work Week: 5:00AM – 5:30PM, F-Su (11% Shift Differential). Van-Am provides a full employee benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life, disability and 401K!
