Job summary

Club Assist US LLC is seeking a Material Handler with warehouse experience, ideally in the battery or automotive sector. The role involves stock control, inventory accuracy, staging outbound orders, and loading/unloading via forklift.

You will handle packing, labeling, and on-time delivery while maintaining OSHA compliance and equipment upkeep. The position requires HS/GED, inventory management skills, and knowledge of dangerous goods.

Qualifications

  • First aid/CPR certification is required.
  • Battery industry knowledge is preferred.
  • Auto electrical industry knowledge is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Stock control - Inbound and Outbound Goods.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate inventory.
  • Stage outbound orders/freight.
  • Load and unload products from trailers using forklift trucks and other material handling equipment.
  • Sort and stack incoming products (returns, cores, warranties).
  • Sort, pack, wrap, tie and label products as per company procedures.
  • Store products in proper locations in the warehouse.
  • Deliver products to various units safely and on time.
  • Weigh products and record weight and data on labels.
  • Ensure OSHA compliance in warehouse.
  • Operate and maintain material handling equipment and log maintenance.

Material Handler

Salary Range: $17.88 To $26.82 Hourly

Job Summary:

We are looking for experienced individual who have worked in a warehouse environment, preferably in the battery/automotive sector.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • None

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Stock control - Inbound and Outbound Goods
  • Monitor and maintain accurate inventory
  • Stage outbound orders/freight
  • Load and unload products from trailers using forklift trucks and other material handling equipment.
  • Sort and stack incoming product (returns, cores, warranties)
  • Sort, pack, wrap, tie and label products as per company procedures
  • Store the products in proper places in warehouse
  • Deliver products to various units in safe and timely manner
  • Weigh products and record weight and other data in product labels
  • OSHA compliance for warehouse
  • Punch in and out through the ADP portal daily, or use the Staff attendance sheets
  • Warehouse cleanliness - clean work area and equipment regularly by removing empty pallets, wood and plastic
  • Identify and report faulty equipment, damages, and safety concerns to Supervisor immediately.
  • Maintain material handling equipment by recharging, cleaning, oiling, re-fueling and other necessary actions, and record all information on log sheet.
  • Minor Repairs to Equipment as needed
  • Maintain forklift equipment by troubleshooting breakdowns, performing preventive maintenance, recommending repairs and performing routine pre and post inspections.
  • Study production schedule to determine material requirements, movements and deliveries
  • Record information regarding movements of supplies, materials and finished products
  • Weekly stock takes for AAA warehouse & BMW Warehouse
  • Follow company standards and legal regulations to ensure safe and positive work atmosphere.
  • Staff training on warehouse and battery processes
  • Ensure product quality before staging of product for shipment
  • Scrap collection
  • Computer skills to include Microsoft Office & Supplier portals
  • Daily Inbound and Outbound Shipment Paperwork
  • All other duties as required

Working Environment/ Minimum Physical Requirements:
