Job description

Job Responsibilities

1. Perform forklift inspections prior to use. Report any repairs needed to the Supervisor or Manager.
2. Stock Printer, Tuber, and Bottomers with all raw materials required for production according to the published schedule. All small (butt) rolls and aged material to be stocked at machines first.
3. Return unused small (butt) rolls to warehouse stock. Minimum twice weekly.
4. Move all materials used by the slitter. Daily as required.
5. Obtain weight and tags for narrow reels not being used at the Bottomers and return to the warehouse. Minimum once a week.
6. Unload and receive shipment of all materials in the warehouse or ink department.
7. Consume preprint patches according to schedule. Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
8. Load all outgoing shipments from the materials warehouse, including scrap containers, empty ink drums, empty totes, and Coating Excellence.
9. Perform monthly inventories of paper, poly, narrow reels, Polylok, and preprint.
10. Overtime or weekend work may be required as needed and will be communicated by management.
11. Perform additional duties as assigned, such as training new hires, assisting in shipping, emptying garbage, sweeping floors before shifts, and other tasks within the scope of the business.

Your Profile

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• 1-5 years of material handling experience preferred.
• 1-5 years of clamp/stand-up reach forklift experience required.
• Work schedules are typically 8-10 hours.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Disciplined, dependable, and resourceful.
• High level of composure and good stress management skills.
