Job summary

Carrier is hiring for a production-related role at our Redmond facility. The position emphasizes safety, accuracy, and timely replenishment of materials on the production line to support continuous operations.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED and experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment. Physical stamina to lift up to 50 pounds and to stand for long periods is required, with flexibility for weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of experience working with Carrier.
• 1+ year of experience in a high-volume, high-complexity manufacturing environment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to bend, stoop, stand, and squat.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety requirements and wear PPE.
• Unload trailers and stage kits/parts at designated locations.
• Remove empties from the point of use and replenish with kits.
• Act as first response for parts not delivered to point of use and determine best ordering method.
• Perform daily walks on the production line to ensure timely replenishment of materials.
• Ensure materials are set up on the line and ready for the next shift.
• Work with multiple priorities and be flexible for overtime and weekend work as needed.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all safety requirements and wear appropriate (PPE) Personal Protection Equipment
• Unload Trailers, stage kits & or parts in the appropriate / designated locations
• Remove empties from the Point of Use
• Replenish Point of use with the appropriate kits at the right place and the right time
• Act as first response to the line for parts not delivered to point of use and determine best ordering method to deliver parts
• Execute daily walks on production line to make sure materials are replenished within the plant to ensure parts are picked on time and in point of use when required
• Make sure all material is set up on the line in replenished for next shift
• Ability to work with multiple priorities of the business
• Ability to work overtime and beyond 40 hours when needed to support production as well as being available to work on weekends as needed

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 6+ months of experience working with Carrier
• 1+ year of experience in a high volume, high complexity, manufacturing environment
• The ability to stand for extended periods of time along with routine lifting of items that typically weigh up to 50 pounds.
• Must have the ability to bend, stoop, stand, and squat

Preferred Qualifications

• Physically capable of working in a fast-paced, stop-and-go manufacturing environment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task effectively
• Alert, dependable, and safety-focused
• Previous experience in manufacturing material handling or similar industrial environments
• Knowledge of parts and materials required for production operations
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong organizational skills and ability to make quick decisions in support of a process-oriented operation

Pay Range

The hourly rate for this position is between $15.00 - $30.00 per hour. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate.
