Job summary

DataWave Technologies in Provo, Utah is seeking an individual responsible for ensuring the organic materials flow through shakers and performing housekeeping duties. You will maintain equipment, inform maintenance of issues, and assist with operations as needed.

The ideal candidate should have a High School Diploma or GED, ability to work in varying weather conditions, and preferred experience in electrical troubleshooting and equipment repair.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
• Preferred experience in electrical troubleshooting and equipment repair.
• Entry-level experience is sufficient.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the flow through shakers by preventing material bridging.
• Perform housekeeping duties to keep areas clear of material.
• Informs maintenance of any equipment problems.
• Assists with small bag line operations and pallet restacking.

Job description

Description: Summary: Responsible for ensuring the organic materials flow through the shakers, informs the heavy equipment operator to fill the shakers, performs housekeeping duties which include scraping, sweeping and shoveling, stacking bags, and assists where necessary at the direction of the foreman.

Education / Experience

• High School Diploma or GED
• Entry level experience
• Electrical troubleshooting, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic repair experience – preferred

Skills and Competencies

• Ability to follow safety practices to ensure safety of self and others
• Ability to work in a dusty environment, hot/cold/rainy weather
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Ability to climb ladders and work on feet for most of the day

Major Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintains the flow through the shakers by poking the material to break it up to prevent bridging
• Maintains the finishing screens by scraping them to ensure product flows through them
• Performs housekeeping duties to keep material from accumulating under conveyors, aisles and cat-walks by following safety practices
• Meets quality and quantity standards
• Informs maintenance personnel of any equipment problems
• Assists with small bag line operations as needed
• Assists with restacking pallets and clean-up as needed
