Job summary

Kasai North America, Inc. in Talladega, AL is looking for a Warehouse Associate to store, record and ship components and finished goods, working with other departments to ensure accurate orders.

The role involves verifying shipments against bills of lading, invoices and orders, pulling and inspecting outgoing shipments, and using material handling equipment. You will support quality, safety, and housekeeping standards while following written and verbal instructions.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Stores, records and ships component parts or finished goods and coordinates with other departments.
• Compares identification, counts, weighs and measures items to verify against bills of lading, invoices, orders and records.
• Pulls, unpacks and examines outgoing shipments; records damages and shortages.
• Operates forklifts or other material handling equipment as needed.
• Receives and fills orders from Production Control for shipment.
• Maintains established quality and quantity levels, housekeeping and safe work practices.
• Supports implementation and maintenance of Quality and Environmental Policies.

Responsibilities:

• Performs routine duties required to store, record and ship component parts or finished goods to customers and other destinations as required. Performs a variety of activities requiring communication and support to other departments and performs other work related activities as required.
• Compares identification and counts, weighs and measures items of outgoing shipments to verify against bills of lading, invoices, orders and records.
• Pulls, unpacks and examines outgoing shipments, records damaged items, reports damages and shortages.
• May operate forklifts, hand trucks, hoists, cranes or other material handling equipment.
• Receives orders from Production Control and is responsible for filling those orders for shipment.
• Responsible for meeting established quality and quantity levels of work assigned, housekeeping and safe work practices.
• Support the implementation, achievement, and maintenance of the Quality and Environmental Policies.
