Job summary

METACYCLE LLC in Prairie Grove, AR, is seeking a material handler to monitor injection molding and secondary production. You will ensure proper use of regrind, blend materials per BOM, and move materials in IQMS between locations.

You will print labels, scan products, and transfer skids to the warehouse while keeping paperwork up to date. This role requires basic math, teamwork, and the ability to lift up to 45 lbs.

Qualifications

• Experience using IQMS for inventory movement and location transfers.
• Forklift certification or the ability to obtain one.
• Basic math skills for material calculations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor Injection Molding machines and secondary production.
• Ensure correct usage of regrind and blend material per BOM.
• Transfer materials in IQMS from one location to another in real time.
• Print labels with accurate part numbers and quantities.
• Scan completed product to machine or location throughout shift.
• Transfer skids to warehouse and scan into IQMS.
• Remove raw materials after runs and scan to warehouse.
• Notify Inventory Manager of discrepancies and low inventories.
• Complete required paperwork accurately and on time.

Monitor Injection Molding machines and Secondary production for needed materials and deliver as neededEnsure correct usage of regrind is being usedBlend material based on BOM details as neededEnsure all material movements are properly transferred in IQMS immediately, from existing location to new locationResponsible to print labels for product ensuring accurate part numbers and box quantitiesEnsure completed product is scanned to the machine or secondary location throughout the duration of shiftAs skids are completed and at the end of a run, ensure product is physically transferred to the warehouse andproperly scanned in IQMSWhen production runs are completed, ensure all raw materials are removed and transferred to the warehouse and properlyscanned in IQMSEnsure all previous materials are removed prior to brining in the next production run materials to avoid mix-upsNotify Inventory Manager of inventory discrepancies and troubleshoot to help resolveNotify Inventory Manager when inventories are low as compared to past quantitiesComplete all required paperwork timely and completelyAbility to work and communicate effectively with internal teams.Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods of time, as applicable.Can complete basic math skills such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and countingCan complete assigned tasks to quality standards with minimal supervisionAble to obtain and maintain all necessary certifications such as but not limited to forklift certificationsAbility to push, lift and/or carry up to 45 pounds as neededAbility to mix upwards of 1,800 pounds of material by hand as neededAbility to work in an area with temperature fluctuation - at times extreme heatAbility to work in area where noise levels are high enough to cause employees to shout to be heard above noise levelAbility to work in area where there is exposure to various fumes, odors, and dust at all times
