Job summary

Alliance Ground International is hiring a part-time Material Handler to support mail handling and ground operations. You will load/unload US mail and trucks, operate GSE equipment, weigh and inspect containers, and perform scans and basic admin tasks. The role requires lifting, standing, and flexibility for weekend or irregular shifts.

Qualifications

• Must pass drug test and background check.
• Must obtain airport security clearance.
• No felonies in the recent past; 5-year work history and 5-year residence may be requested.

Responsibilities

• Load/unload US mail from airline containers.
• Load/unload trucks and push/pull USPS rolling stock.
• Move airline containers on ball decking and dollies.
• Scan mail into/out of airline containers.
• Weigh airline containers using ball decking and scales.
• Validate container serviceability per airline requirements.
• Operate GSE equipment including trucks and tugs.
• Perform administrative duties such as equipment checks/reports.

Job Description:Job Description:Material Handler Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:· May be required to load/unload US mail from/into airline containers· May be required to load/unload trucks· May be required to push/pull USPS rolling stock equipment with and without (empty) US Mail· May be required to push full/empty airline containers on ball decking· May be required to load/unload full or empty airline equipment from the Company transport dollies· May be required to scan mail into/out of airline containers.· May be required to weigh airline containers utilizing the Company's ball decking and scales· May be required to validate the serviceability of airline containers based on airline requirements· May be required to operate GSE equipment, including but not limited to trucks and tugs· May be assigned administrative duties by the supervisor, which include equipment checks/reportsMinimum Requirements· Must be at least 18 years of age.· Possess a High school diploma, GED, or work experience equivalent is a plus· Must pass a drug test/ background check and be able to obtain airport security clearance.· Must be able to pass certain requirements mandated by the United States Post Office , including but not limited too Have a verifiable 5-year work history (Unemployed ok, if it is accounted for)o Have a verifiable 5-year United States (or any of its territories) residenceo No pending or current felonies less than 10 years old.
