Job summary

Alliance Ground International is seeking a part-time Material Handler in Detroit. You will lift, sort, scan and load/unload USPS mail containers and airline cans in a busy warehouse, following all safety rules.

Applicants must be 18+, pass a background check and USPS requirements (5-year work history, 3-year residence, no felonies within 10 years). Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and stand for long periods is required; weekend/holiday shifts may be scheduled.

Material handlers work their assigned schedules including weekends and holidays as scheduled. Material handlers must follow all Safety rules and Regulations established via postings or verbal communication from their supervisor.Minimum requirements- Must be at least 18 years of age.- Must pass a background check.- Must pass requirements mandated by the United States Post Office including but not limited to:o Have a verifiable 5-year work history.o Have verifiable 3 years United States residence.o No pending or current felonies less than 10 years old.
