Job summary

Alliance Ground International in the United States is seeking a Material Handler to support mail and airline equipment handling across warehouse operations. You will load/unload mail, trucks, and airline containers, operate GSE equipment, and perform scans and weight checks as needed.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED, a verifiable 5-year US residence/history, ability to pass drug and background checks, and the flexibility to work weekends or irregular shifts with probationary

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must pass drug test/background check and obtain airport security clearance.
• Have a verifiable 5-year work history (Unemployed ok, if it is accounted for).
• Have a verifiable 5-year United States residence (or its territories).
• No pending or current felonies within the last 10 years; some charges may disqualify you.

Responsibilities

• Load/unload US mail from airline containers.
• Load/unload trucks and airline equipment.
• Push/pull USPS rolling stock and airline containers.
• Scan mail into/out of airline containers.
• Weigh airline containers using ball decking and scales.
• Inspect container serviceability per airline requirements.
• Operate GSE equipment (trucks, tugs).
• Perform supervisor-assigned administrative duties.

Material Handler Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

• - May be required to load/unload US mail from/into airline containers
• - May be required to load/unload trucks
• - May be required to push/pull USPS rolling stock equipment with and without (empty) US Mail
• - May be required to push full/empty airline containers on ball decking
• - May be required to load/unload full or empty airline equipment from the Company transport dollies
• - May be required to scan mail into/out of airline containers.
• - May be required to weigh airline containers utilizing the Company's ball decking and scales
• - May be required to validate the serviceability of airline containers based on airline requirements
• - May be required to operate GSE equipment, including but not limited to trucks and tugs
• - May be assigned administrative duties by the supervisor, which include equipment checks/reports

Minimum Requirements

• - Must be at least 18 years of age.
• - Possess a High school diploma, GED, or work experience equivalent is a plus
• - Must pass a drug test/ background check and be able to obtain airport security clearance.
• • o Have a verifiable 5-year work history (Unemployed ok, if it is accounted for)
  • o Have a verifiable 5-year United States (or any of its territories) residence
  • o No pending or current felonies less than 10 years old. Some charges may disqualify you altogether, regardless of length

Physical Requirements

• - Must be able to lift 70 pounds
• - Must be able to stand, lift, bend, push, pull, and sit for extended periods
• - Must be willing to work in a warehouse environment

• - Must be flexible to work various shifts, including weekends or irregular shifts
