Tempur Sealy in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a warehouse receiving associate to handle inbound goods, verify bills of lading, and direct items to the correct storage areas. This role supports our regional distribution operations and requires attention to detail and safety.

You will operate a forklift, perform pre-shift checks, load and unload trailers, scan merchandise, and maintain a clean, organized work area while collaborating with team members.

Responsabilidades

• Receive, inspect, and direct incoming goods to designated storage areas.
• Perform pre-work inspection of assigned forklift.
• Load and unload trailers.
• Operate forklift safely.
• Identify material accurately to pull for loading.
• Use a scanner to receive merchandise.
• Interact professionally with co-workers.
• Maintain cleanliness in the assigned area and manage scrap.

SUMMARY:

Receives all incoming goods, verifies bills of lading, inspects for damage, directs distribution to designated storage area.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Performs combinations of the following tasks to receive, store, and distribute materials.
• Performs pre-work inspection of assigned forklift.
• Responsible for loading and unloading trailers
• Perform safe operation of a forklift
• Identifying material accurately to pull for the to load
• Able to use a scanner to receive merchandise
• Interact and respond professionally to co-workers requests.
• Perform housekeeping in assigned area. Removes scrap to baler or dumpster.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand for a minimum for several hours per day.
• Able to handle material up to 50 lbs safely (100lb lifts as a two-man team or as necessary)
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving forklift traffic.
• Continuous pushing and pulling a wheeled cart containing material rolls.
