Dauch is seeking a Materials Handler for Oxford Forge, Inc. facilities in Michigan. The role ensures materials move efficiently to keep production lines stocked and finished goods ready for shipment.

Responsibilities include receiving, inspecting, storing, and moving materials using forklifts and pallet jacks. You’ll maintain accurate inventories, perform cycle counts, and help with loading products for transport, while adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
  • Basic math skills and ability to read/work with orders and inventory documents.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory and material movements.
  • Ability to lift/move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) regularly and stand long periods.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork; safety compliance and policies.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, unload, and inspect incoming materials against purchase orders.
  • Store materials in designated locations using forklifts/pallet jacks.
  • Pick and stage materials per production schedules and work orders.
  • Load finished products onto trucks in a safe, compliant manner.
  • Maintain inventory records with cycle counts and periodic inventories.
  • Operate and inspect material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks).
  • Keep work areas clean, organized and safe; follow safety regulations.
  • Communicate with production, shipping, and receiving teams to ensure smooth flow.
  • Assist with packaging, labeling, and quality checks as needed.
