Dauch Corporation, a premier Driveline and Metal Forming supplier to the global automotive industry, seeks a Material Handler for the 3rd shift. You will unload pallets, prepare materials for production, stock lines with forklifts, and support inventory control while maintaining lot traceability.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Must be able to lift 35 lbs.
• Two to five years’ experience in warehouse operations and forklift experience.
• Desirable: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; interpersonal skills; organizational skills; detail conscious.
• Good computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Unpacks material from pallets and places in smaller flow racks, ensuring FIFO process is followed.
• Decants and/or prepares material for each production line.
• Stocks production lines using the proper equipment such as a tugger or walk behind; delivers right number of parts at the right time.
• Removes trash from the materials area and production lines; loads cardboard and plastic into the compactors.
• Assists with inventory control functions, including cycle counts and physical inventories.
• Maintains lot traceability as required.
• Supports training as required.
• Performs other tasks as assigned.
