Job summary

Compana Pet Brands in Omaha, NE is seeking a Material Handler to support production operations and maintain clean, safe staging areas. The role includes operating equipment, adhering to safety and food safety standards, and documenting production activities during primary shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years manufacturing or warehouse experience.
• Ability to certify and operate a forklift, getting on/off continuously throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

• Keep staging areas clean and orderly.
• Follow all safety procedures, and wear required personal safety equipment.
• Follow all food safety procedures.
• Operate equipment to prevent injury, damage, and downtime; notify supervisor if issues arise.
• Complete relevant production documentation in a timely and accurate manner.

As a Material Handler, you’ll make an impact by:

• Ensuringstaging areas are clean and orderly.
• Following all safety procedures, and wear required personal safety equipment.
• Following all food safety procedures.
• Properly operatingequipment to prevent personal injury, damage to equipment, and downtime. Notify supervisor immediately if equipment is not running properly.
• Completingrelevant production documentation in a timely and accurate manner.

What you need to succeed:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years manufacturing or warehouse experience
• Ability to certify and operate a forklift, getting off and on continuously throughout the shift.
