Job summary

Binford Supply LLC in Oklahoma City is seeking a Material Handler to pull and prepare orders, load and unload trucks, and maintain a clean, organized warehouse and yard environment.

You will operate a forklift when needed, work outdoors in varying conditions, and collaborate with a team to ensure timely shipments and excellent customer service. Prior warehouse or yard experience is preferred, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Able to work outdoors in all conditions.
• 1+ year warehouse/yard experience; forklift experience a plus.
• Building materials experience a plus.
• Able to work overtime as needed.
• Basic reading, writing and math abilities.

Responsibilities

• Pull and prepare customer orders.
• Operate forklift for loading/unloading.
• Load outbound trucks and unload inbound products.
• Keep product clean and organized.
• Work with team to ensure branch success and customer service.
• Perform duties as assigned.

Description

A Material Handler's primary responsibility is performing an array of functions, including pulling and preparing customer orders, using a forklift to load and unload trucks, and ensuring the product is kept clean and organized manner.

Responsibilities:

• Work inside the warehouse and outside in the yard depending on the need
• Loads trucks for outgoing shipments
• Unloads the receiving of inbound product
• Pulls and prepares orders, packaging for shipment
• Complete all work orders accurately and in a timely manner
• Rotates product and safely moves product using a forklift (when needed)
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Work with the team to ensure branch success and provide excellent customer service.
• Other duties as required by business needs or as assigned.

Schedule: Mon-Fri 7:30 am-4:40 pm

Pay: $19-$21 per hr DOE

Requirements

Qualifications & Skills

• Education - High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
• Must be able to work outdoors in all conditions.
• 1+ year experience in a warehouse/yard position Forklift experience is a plus
• Experience with building materials is a plus
• Must be able to work overtime as needed
• Ability to read and write and perform essential math functions
