Job summary

Specialty Building Products is seeking a Material Handler in Oklahoma City to receive, move, and ship materials, support production, and operate forklifts or similar equipment. This role is based on-site and involves precise order pulling and inventory tasks.

The position offers an 7:00am–4:30pm CST weekday schedule, full-time employment, and benefits after 30 days, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, life insurance, a 401(k) with company match, and paid time off plus holidays.

Qualifications

• Forklift experience required.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy; ability to stand/walk during shift.
• Ability to read tickets, SKU labels, UPCs and reports.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts/other machinery to load/unload, move, stage, pull orders and transport material.
• Band, wrap, and tape product as needed.
• Accurately pull daily orders.
• Assist with inventory variances, order accuracy and track/trace issues.
• Read and understand tickets and product codes.
• Must be able to read a tape measure.

Job description

DW, an SBP Brand, is currently looking for a Material Handler to join our team to perform a number of different and important responsibilities including material receiving, material & product movement, product shipping and production support responsibilities.

Hourly pay rate: $18+/hour + Benefits after 30 days.

Mon -Friday schedule: 7am -4:30pm CST.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate Combilift, forklifts or other machinery in order to complete assigned tasks including loading and unloading, moving, staging, pulling orders and transporting material.
• Band, wrap, and tape product as needed.
• Accurately pull daily orders.
• Assist with inventory variances, order accuracy and track and trace issues.
• Reading and understanding tickets and the various codes for products
• Must be able to read a tape measure.

Qualifications:

• Forklift experience.
• Great attention to detail and accuracy - be able to stand and work on your feet throughout shift as normal routine
• Identify and read tickets, SKU'S, UPC labels and reports
