Staffmark is hiring a Material Handler in Northampton, PA. The role offers 1st or 2nd shift with pay ranging from $17.50 to $18.00 per hour. The job focuses on moving materials safely, supporting warehouse operations, and ensuring inventory reaches the correct location on time.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and prior warehouse experience. Training on forklifts, RF scanners, and warehouse systems may be provided; a reliable, detail‑oriented team player is preferred.

Now hiring for a Material Handler

Location: Northampton, PA

Pay Rate: $17.50 - $18.00 per hour

Schedule Options: 1st or 2nd Shift (Sunday to Wednesday and Wednesday to Saturday available )

Education Requirements

Experience Requirements

• Experience moving, organizing, loading, or unloading materials in warehouse or manufacturing environments.
• Ability to accurately identify products, labels, inventory locations, and shipping documentation.
• Knowledge of safe material handling practices and workplace safety procedures.
• Ability to operate pallet jacks or other material handling equipment as required.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and dependable work habits.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, shipping, receiving, logistics, manufacturing, or distribution experience is preferred.
• Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, RF scanners, or warehouse management systems is beneficial.
• Knowledge of inventory control procedures, warehouse documentation, or Lean warehouse practices is considered an asset.
• Individuals who demonstrate reliability, teamwork, attention to detail, and safe work habits are well positioned for success as a Material Handler.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive material handling tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to safely move products using manual or powered material handling equipment.
• Ability to work efficiently in warehouse or manufacturing environments while following established safety procedures.
