Job summary

Laitram Machinery, Inc. has a Material Handler position focused on maintaining inventory accuracy and effective communication with Materials Management Supervisor.

The role supports production by staging parts, transferring stock, and pulling items for orders to ensure timely fulfillment. The ideal candidate should have a high school diploma, be fluent in English, and willing to train on forklift operations, with a track record as a self-managed team player capable of lifting up to 55 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• Able to work overtime and weekends when needed.
• Capable of passing Laitram Forklift Training certification.
• Capable of becoming proficient with MAPICS, Sharepoint, etc.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Self-managed and a team player.
• Ability to lift and move 55 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Stage parts for equipment builds prior to start.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and organization.
• Transfer incoming stock to storage locations.
• Perform all necessary transactions w/ Inventory Management Software.
• Pull parts for customer orders, ensuring order completion.
• Maintain floor stock of production hardware.
• Perform all necessary housecleaning duties to maintain a clean work environment.
