Job summary

Laitram Machinery, Inc. is seeking a Material Handler to support inventory accuracy and materials flow for production builds in New Orleans, LA. You will stage parts, transfer stock, and process inventory transactions using MAPICS and SharePoint.

Responsibilities

• Stage parts for equipment builds prior to start.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and organization.
• Transfer incoming stock to storage locations.
• Perform all necessary transactions w/ Inventory Management Software.
• Pull parts for customer orders, ensuring order completion.
• Maintain floor stock of production hardware.
• Perform all necessary housecleaning duties to maintain a clean work environment.

This individual will be a key player in maintaining the accuracy of inventory and communicating with Materials Management Supervisor. Desired Qualifications

• Previous experience in Warehouse and/or Manufacturing Environments
• Experience in Receiving and Shipping a plus
