Altec is a leading US manufacturing company based in Mount Airy, NC. The role focuses on receiving and delivering parts, picking/packing, and shipping to other departments and customers, with starting pay of $21.53 per hour.

The successful candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, plus material handling and warehouse experience; forklift/picker experience and barcoding/computer skills are a plus. Responsibilities include safe, quality work and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Ability to read and understand technical documents – i.e. engineering drawings

Responsabilités

• To provide quality and timely work on each job performed
• Follow all established safety & quality policies and practices
• Learn and follow all work instructions
• Learn and operate all equipment within the department
• Support APS initiatives – Lean Manufacturing
• Rotate responsibilities as needed
• Computer program usage – Ability to learn Oracle data base / Altec Navigator

The primary duty is to receive and deliver parts and materials to stocking areas. Pick/ pack/ ship product to other departments, other divisions, and customers.

Starting Pay $21.53/hr

Basic Qualifications

Should the selected candidate meet the qualifications of a more experienced level in the career path, the job level may be adjusted.

High School or GED is required
