Job summary

Jobtailor in Mitchell, SD is seeking a Warehouse Operator to stage finished goods, load outbound shipments and unload inbound freight on the Night Crew. You will use standard Material Handling Equipment (MHE) and perform materials handling duties per established procedures.

Candidates must understand warehouse operations, be able to read safety rules and manuals, and obtain/maintain an MHE license. This role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and cleanliness in the work area.

Responsibilities

• Stage finished goods, load outbound shipments and unload inbound freight on the Night Crew.
• Operate standard Material Handling Equipment (MHE) in support of goods handling.
• Move, load, unload, stack and unstack rolls and pallets as required.
• Receipt, storage, and shipment of stock per procedures.
• Bale glued cartons from waste tubs and sort by board type.
• Keep baler area clean and organized.

Responsibilities

• Stage finished goods, load outbound and unload inbound freight on our Night Crew
• Operate standard Material Handling Equipment (MHE) in combination with materials handling duties
• Operate equipment to move, load, unload, stack and unstack rolls and pallets
• Materials handling duties include receipt, storage, and shipment of various stock in accordance with established procedures
• Bale glued cartons from waste tubs
• Remove bales and sort by board type
• Keep baler area clean

Requirements

• Must possess a thorough understanding of warehouse procedures
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and operating manuals
• Must be able to obtain an MHE license and maintain proficiency to operate equipment.
