Job summary

Global Power Components seeks a Material Handler to support on-site operations in Milwaukee, WI. This temp-to-hire role requires picking materials, moving them to work areas, and staging supplies for productive workflow.

Qualified candidates will read blueprints, have 1–3 years in manufacturing, and be able to work independently or as part of a team while passing a pre-employment physical and drug screen. Forklift certification is preferred.

Position: Material Handler

Job Responsibilities

• Read blueprints to determine materials necessary for projects and timelines to prepare for projects.
• Move materials to work areas in preparation for building products.
• Coordinate and stage materials quickly and safely.

Job Requirements

• Previous experience as a material handler helpful
• 1 to 3 years in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to read blueprints to select appropriate materials
• Critical thinker who can make decisions and act on them
• Ability to follow instructions
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Read, write and speak English fluently
• High school diploma or GED
• Must pass competency test and pre-employment physical and drug screen
• Forklift certified preferred
