SRG4 Life Sciences in Miami, FL is seeking a Material Handler to support manufacturing operations. You will receive, store, and distribute raw materials, perform cycle counts, and operate forklift equipment to maintain efficient inventory flow.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 1–3 years of professional experience preferably in a GMP manufacturing environment.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills; organized and able to efficiently follow directions under supervision.
  • Must have basic computer skills; MS Word, Excel, and e-mail.

Responsibilities

  • Receive materials by unloading trucks and verify quantities against documentation.
  • Perform electronic receiving transactions in DSI and maintain location accuracy.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy with timely posting of moves in the system.
  • Conduct inventory cycle counts and report discrepancies.
  • Operate heavy equipment (Forklift/Truck) to support manufacturing operations.
  • Dispense materials for work orders per pick lists and SOP requirements.
  • Receive returns from manufacturing and verify quantities and lot numbers.
  • Assist with distribution of mail and small packages between facilities as needed.
  • Comply with cGMP, EHS guidelines and SOPs; maintain warehouse cleanliness.

Training schedules are M-F 5:00 am - 1:30 pm or M-F1pm-9:30pm or M-F, 9pm-5:30am up to 3 months until team is ready to transition to shift.Salary: $18/hr., plus 15% shift differential = $20.70/hr.Employment Type: Long-term contract with the possibility to go permEnvironment: Our client is a dynamic specialty pharmaceutical company engaged in the research, development, manufacture, marketing, and sale of prescription pharmaceutical products. They are a leading developer of advanced transdermal drug delivery technologies and prescription transdermal products.OverviewUnder supervision comply with cGMP, current SOPs, safety and environmental guidelines. Perform warehousing duties and staging of raw materials for manufacturing operations. Prepare shipments of finished product and miscellaneous items for outside processing. Perform inventory, cycle count, and receiving transactions using our integrated systems (MRP/DSI) to ensure inventory and location accuracy. Assist with the delivery of small packages and mail delivery as needed. Work as an effective team member, to ensure that the department s quality and performance expectations are met. Forklift operation is required.ResponsibilitiesReceive materials by unloading trucks, verifying that quantities and match materials received with the shipping documentation; perform electronic receiving transactions using DSI.Maintain location accuracy, consolidating locations as needed, identify / report deterioration and/or damage conditions of stored materials.Maintain inventory accuracy by ensuring that all inventory moves are posted on a timely basis by using our integrated system (MRP / DSI)Perform inventory cycle counts and report inventory errors or discrepancies to Inventory Control.Operate heavy equipment (Forklift / Truck) to support the manufacturing operations and request made by internal customers.Dispense materials for manufacturing work orders, per pick lists and SOP requirements.Receive returns from manufacturing; verify the quantities and lot number against return documentation, process return per SOP requirements.Check Temperature Chart Recorders daily per current SOP.Assist with the distribution of mail, small packages, and other items between facilities, as required; including clerical and physical activities.Comply with cGMP, EHS guidelines, and all SOPs assigned to the position. Individual is required to stand for more than two hours at a time, while stooping and bending.
