Job summary

ADI Global Distribution is hiring for a Shipping & Receiving role at our Louisville location. You will help receive incoming materials, maintain records, and prepare items for shipment following customer specifications.

You will also move materials internally and support the Logistics team to meet daily deadlines. In this position, you will seek process improvements in a fast-paced environment and contribute to a best-in-class service culture with a focus on customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in shipping and/or receiving.
• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move more than 75 pounds (with assistance)
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship

Job Description

Join our shipping & receiving team and use your knowledge to ensure you properly receive incoming material; maintain accurate accountability of receiving, additions and deletions for materials from the record. Prepare product for shipment according to specifications and/or customer requirements. Transport material internally. Execute standard procedures and assist Logistics team to fulfill tasks on time, every time. Provide ideas on how to improve processes in a strong continuous improvement environment. Assist to build a best-in-class service culture by driving positive Customer satisfaction. We offer a full benefits package that full-time employees are eligible for on day 1.

JOB DUTIES:

• Transporting material
• Picking and packing using a RF scanner
• Shipping and receiving
• Ensure zero product delinquency
• Continuous improvement
• Execute standard procedures

YOU MUST HAVE:

• 1+ years of experience in shipping and/or receiving
• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to twenty-five pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to fifty pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move more than seventy-five pounds (with assistance)
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship

WE VALUE:

• 1+ years of experience operating a forklift
• 1+ years of experience using a RF scanner
• The ability to work at a fast pace and meet rates
