Job summary

FLANDERS is seeking two Material Handlers in Longview, TX to support the Inventory Department with material movement across the site. You will prepare kits, enter data in the ERP system, and participate in physical and cycle counts to keep inventory accurate.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, at least 6 months of related experience, and the ability to obtain a FLANDERS forklift certification. Familiarity with Syteline and Microsoft Office is preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills.

• Knowledge using Microsoft Office software.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a current FLANDERS forklift certification will be required.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality when processing sensitive information.
• Ability to exercise initiative, judgment, and decision making related to routine duties.
• Ability to multi-task between projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the movement of materials between departments.
• Submit purchase order requisitions to Purchasing Agent for needed items.
• Enter kit sheets on a daily basis.
• Prepare kits of materials for repair and production of jobs.
• Participate in the company's physical inventory functions (both physical and cycle counting).
• Maintain knowledge of most common material handling equipment and be a licensed fork lift operator.
• Maintain knowledge of Syteline accounting software in order to perform item look up and basic data entry.
• Prepare pick lists and prep completed kits for handoff to the Shipping department.
• Move material through the company via the ERP system.
• Observe all safety procedures and use proper safety equipment as needed.
• Provide outstanding customer service at all times.
• Perform other duties as requested
