Job summary

The Evansville team has an opening for a Material Handler who will assist in all areas of the Inventory Department with the movement of material throughout the Evansville location and help maintain efficiency to meet company objectives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least 6 months of work experience or related training preferred.
• ERP system experience preferred.
• Good written and verbal communication and comprehension skills.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong time management skills.
• Knowledge using Microsoft Office software.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a current FLANDERS forklift certification will be required.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality when processing sensitive information; ability to exercise initiative, judgment, and decision making.

Responsibilities

• Move materials between departments as needed.
• Submit purchase order requisitions to Purchasing Agent.
• Enter kit sheets on a daily basis.
• Prepare kits of materials for repair and production.
• Participate in physical and cycle counting inventory.
• Maintain forklift certification and knowledge of material handling equipment.
• Use Syteline to look up items and perform data entry.
• Prepare pick lists and ready kits for Shipping.
• Move material through the ERP system.
• Observe safety procedures and use required safety equipment.
• Provide outstanding customer service at all times.
• Perform other duties as requested.

Our Evansville team has an opening for a Material Handler! The Material Handler will assist in all areas of the Inventory Department with the movement of material throughout the Evansville location. This role will also work to maintain efficiency and accuracy of materials to ensure all company objectives are met.

Here’s What You’ll Do

• Assist with the movement of materials between departments.
• Submit purchase order requisitions to Purchasing Agent for needed items.
• Enter kit sheets on a daily basis.
• Prepare kits of materials for repair and production of jobs.
• Participate in the company's physical inventory functions (both physical and cycle counting).
• Maintain knowledge of most common material handling equipment and be a licensed fork lift operator.
• Maintain knowledge of Syteline accounting software in order to perform item look up and basic data entry.
• Prepare pick lists and prep completed kits for handoff to the Shipping department.
• Move material through the company via the ERP system.
• Observe all safety procedures and use proper safety equipment as needed.
• Provide outstanding customer service at all times.
• Perform other duties as requested
