Position: Material Handler

Summary

Dakota Bodies is seeking a Material Handler responsible for moving materials around the plant or work site primarily using a forklift. The role may also include packaging, weighing, and loading/unloading materials from machines, as well as staging materials efficiently. Candidates should be self-motivated with a strong work ethic and committed to high standards of performance.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift for approximately 25-30% of the workday.
• Move and stage materials to ensure machine efficiency.
• Support machines by clearing scrap and finished products.
• Locate and organize materials, track orders, and ensure proper tagging.
• Follow bill of materials for packaging and skidding.
• Assist with finishing duties and setup operations.
• Perform various plant tasks to maintain safety, efficiency, and quality.
• Maintain housekeeping standards within the plant.
• Deliver goods and operate company vehicles responsibly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Desired Experience

• Ability to perform physical, repetitive tasks and stand for 10 hours a day.
