The Lawrence, Kansas facility is 236,000 square feet and home to about 200+ hard working team members who are proud to produce iconic pet food brands like Kibbles 'n Bits®. Lawrence is a college town and the home to both the University of Kansas and Haskell Indian Nations University with Kansas State University about 85 miles away. Material Handler

Pay Rate: $24.45per hour

The Post Consumer Brands facility in Lawrence, KS operates on a 24/7 production schedule. This position will work:

• D Shift - Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and every other Friday 6:00pm - 6:00am


• Shift premium: $1.50 per hour

In the Material Handler role, you will:

• Operate forklifts to load and unload trailers in a safe and efficient manner to meet customer needs


• Maintain forklifts and other equipment to reduce/eliminate downtime


• Maintain a clean, sanitary and orderly work area to ensure employee and food safety

Qualifications

The successful candidate (s) for this role will have the following qualifications:

• Possess a high school diploma or a GED


• Ability to comply with a strict attendance policy


• Desire to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment


• Forklift experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
