The Post Consumer Brands plant in Asheboro, NC, features some of the most modern cereal production technology in the industry and the facility has quadrupled in size since it opened in 2007. Asheboro's 200+ team members produce some of our newest and most innovative cereals, like Oreo Puff's cereal! While there is plenty to do right in Asheboro, the town is only a few hours from the Atlantic Ocean in one direction and the Blue Ridge Mountains in the other direction.
Operates and monitors warehouse equipment, shipping, receiving, staging & storing of raw materials and finished goods, ingredients and packaging replenishment. Identifying and correcting routine and repetitive upset conditions. Requires gooddecision-makingskills while performing daily tasks and working safely around and/oroperatingmoving equipment. Employees are required to be proficient in supporting the warehouse process & equipment. Support, implement, andmaintainfood safety, food safety culture, and quality practices asrequiredthrough SQF.Perform some team lead duties as necessary.
High School Diploma or GED
At least 3 years of warehouse, manufacturing, or related experience is preferred
High School Diploma or GED.
6 months to 1 year of manufacturing or related experience is a plus.
Mechanically inclined with the ability to learn andoperateall related warehouse equipment.
Ability to follow detailed work instructions or workdirection.
Basic math and computer skills.
Ability to use basic hand and power tools.
Ability to work within a team environment and build positive professional relationships.
Ability to effectively communicate in both written and verbal form in English.
Ability toproblem solveentry-level problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where standardizations/alternatives exist.
Ability to work scheduled shifts, standing, kneeling, climbing and walking for extended periods of the day; capable of repetitive gripping, pinching, lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling with weight ranges up to 50 pounds; ability to perform repeated twisting, bending and reaching of upper and lower extremities; exposure to hot and/or humid environments, heights up to 30 ft. and working on ladders.
